  • Development of new iterative/noniterative coupled-cluster approaches for the ground and excited states.

  • Coupled-cluster formalism and many-body perturbation theory
    Equation-of-motion coupled-cluster methods for excited states

Education

Dr. Kowalski received his Ph.D. from Nicolaus Copernicus University in theoretical physics (Advisor: Prof. K. Jankowski).
He was a postdoctoral fellow and research assistant professor in Dr. Piecuch's group at Michigan State University.
