Dr. Cannon joined PNNL in January of 2000, where his current research interests are in (1) simulation of cellular processes such as replication and recombination; (2) statistical and biological inference of cellular networks; and (3) development of a web-based problem solving environment for bioinformatics, especially with regard to synchronous processes in the cell.
